trying to open a database created in 2003 with 2002

Have a access 2003 database and need to open it in access 2002. Is this
possible. Logic would suggest no.

Not in 2003 format, no. But you could open it on a 2003 machine then on
tools>>database utilities>>Convert to Access 2002 version.

But fact suggests yes. Access 2002 and 2003 use exactly the same
format for databases (in fact they both default to the Access2000
format, though you can choose to update the database to 2002/2003
format).

Access 2003 Convert database has 2002-2003 as the same format. I woul
think you can open a 2003 db in 2002. Try it, it shouldn't cause an
damage.
