turn off automatic features

Hi all,
Using an AXP table in datasheet view I am entering data in one field. As I
enter data AXP somehow finds a pattern and attempts to "help" me by entering
a value in the same field for the next record. For example if I enter a 2 in
record 1, a 4 in record 2 but then I need to skip down to put a 1 in record
5, I notice that there is a 6 in record 3 and an 8 in record 4. Some of the
records will not contain data in this field at this time and I need it
blank. Is there a way to turn off this feature?

Nope. But this only happens only if you use DatasheetView of the Table to
enter data. If you design a proper Form for data entry, this won't happen
on the Form.

I do have a form for usual data entry. I thought it would be faster to enter
the data directly since it's only one field.
I'll live with it!!
