Undeliverable Mail - corrupted SMTP address

L

Lil''Admin

An sending/reply issue is randomly occuring when an email is originated
inside our domain and later down the string the SMTP address becomes
corrupted & mail is returned as undeliverable.
(Example: I ([email protected]) send an email (Rich text or HTML)
outside our organization To: (e-mail address removed) & CC: my colleague
(e-mail address removed))...the email sends fine & everyone receives it...Bob
then responds by clicking "reply to all" & we all receive his response. I
then retort by clicking "reply to all" and Bob receives it but my colleague
([email protected]) does not.
Instead I am informed: The following recipient(s) could not be reached:501
5.5.4 Invalid Address
When looking back over the details; the originating email captured everyones
address correctly...the 1st response email from Bob shows an added space in
the domain name to my colleague (but he still managed to receive it) & the
final email from me gets returned undeliverable b/c it retained Bob's
corrupted SMTP address. Would someone please help...my brain hurts from
researching this issue
Thanks!!
