Unwanted Tiled pages in Publisher 2007

Every document/flier I create in Publisher 2007 that is above 8.5†x 11†page
size is being tiled and I want it to be just the single page in the size I
have selected 11" x 17". I have just tried to follow instructions from a
previous post "Choose File, print, re-set the page size to 11 x 17 on this
screen" but I do not have the option of choosing 11x17 or "tabloid" as it's
called in the Blank Page Sizes Window. Would someone please help me with
this? I have used the "publish as PDF" add-on as suggested in a previous
postings as well, in an attempt to send a flier to a commercial printer to
create full bleed fliers. Should this do the trick? Thanks very much!

Are you setting up your printer for 11 x 17 first? If your printer cannot print
tabloid then all you will see is tiling. After you finish your creation, *save
as* PDF, click the change button, advanced button, print options. It should
already be set to ledger/tabloid, if not manually change.

Hi Mary, Thanks for trying to help! I'm actually not printing it myself (and
I don't think my printer will print on 11" x 17") so I made no attempt to set
up my own printer. I'm actually sending it to a commercial printer. So if I
send them the PDF I've created should that suffice?

I did just follow your instructions and the setting was already set to
ledger/tabloid. I saved that PDF as well.

Most, if not all commercial printers will accept a PDF.
