Using outlook backup to restore data.

I recently had to restore my .pst file using Outlook
backup for Outlook 2002. I now have two of everything in
Outlook, two inboxes, two outboxes etc. What did i do
wrong.

How did you restore and connected to the file?

Are these different pst-files or are these clones of eachother? Meaning if
you delete a message from one it is also deleted from the other pst-file?
