What is Outlook doing ? My Hard Disk works constantly.

My Hard Disk seems to work constantly when Outlook 2003 is open.

This does not seem to be Internet activity as I can have Zone Alarm block
all internet activity and it keeps going.

On XP Pro I can Ctl-Alt-Del and see Outlook flashing on and off as a Process
when it does this disk access.

It is like dripping water and it is starting to get to me.

(I think this is a recent event and it comes and goes.)

Anybody know what it is and if I can control it without closing Outlook?

thanks for any help.

Have you also tried to cut your internet connection, and look what happen?

No addins I know of. What addins are possible (to job my memory) ??

I did cut he internet connection... Outlook keeps working the hard disk in
short spurts.

Any more ideas what this may be or how to stop it?

Thanks
