When typing in textbox all I get is blanks, no letters.

Hello

When I am typing in my textbox all I get is blanks. The cursor moves but no
letters appear. I notice that my control name is not in the textbox when I am
in Design View. But the name is there under properties. So I am a little
confused on what I did wrong.

It might be simplest to simply delete this textbox, compact the database, and
create it afresh. Possibly you've unintentionally done something strange like
setting the Forecolor to white, so it's typing white text on a white
background; when you do so it will look like this:

I've heard, Dustin, that "patience is a virtue". Given that everyone who
responds to questions here in these newsgroups is doing so on a volunteer
basis, which normally means, "on a time-available basis", forty-five minutes
before repeating exactly the same question would imply a certain amont of
impatience.

In fact, John Vinson replied to the second instance of your question just a
few minutes earlier than Dirk Goldgar replied to the first instance; John
not quite two hours after you posted it; Dirk about two and a half hours. To
get free consulting from people with the knowledge and experience that John
and Dirk have, I'd say that's really very fast response.
