Will not print to edge of page

I am using Publisher 2007 and want to print almost to the edge of the page.
I have changed the margin guides to 0. However the writing is cutting off at
about 1/2 inch from the edge. It looks fine in the edit view mode, but in
print preview I see it is cutting off the writing, and of course it is doing
the same in the actual print. I just can't figure out why that is. If you
know, can you share that with me?

Maybe it's a limitation of your printer.

Most printers...especially inkjets...do
not print to the edge.

There are very few PRINTERS on the market designed to do this. The
exist, but you already know your printer isn't capable of borderles
printing

Most printers have a 'no print' zone around the edges from .2"-.5" i
width.

To print "borderless" on your existing printer, design your sheet to 8
x 10" and cut the white edging off

Some printers that CAN'T do borderless 8.5" x 11" printing CAN d
borderless with smaller size paper in the same printer. Not all can d
this, either, you'll have to experiment

If one has a borderless printer I have found saving the page as a picture and
using the software that came with the printer, one can print borderless.
