Word 2007 screen background display

Hello - In earlier versions of Word I could set my screen background to be
dark blue, with the letters of words I type then showing as white. Is there
any way to do this in Word 2007? The white background is too bright. Thank
you.

No, this option was removed from Word 2007, but you can mute the paper color
by changing the Window color in Control Panel | Appearance. I have mine set
to 255/255/225, which is a pleasant ivory (the color of Word's ScreenTips,
often described as yellow, though it's not).
