Word 97 VBA in Word 2003

I'm not a programmer at all but I do have a template I created in Word 97
with several combobox selections and a few filed codes like createdate, etc.
When I start a new document in Office 2003 Word, none of my comboboxes
populate and the code for my reference template file does not show up in VBE.
I can open a new document in Word 97 and all works correctly.

I thought I read somewhere that code from 97 doesn't work well at times in
newer than 2000 apps. Is this correct? If so how do I fix it all? Do I have
to re-write this in Office 2003 VBE? Any ideas would be appreciated

Hi Glenn,

This sounds rather like the code is not in the template on the Word 2003 machine. Did you migrate the template, or just a document
based on it?

Cheers

Thanks for reply. I figured out my original problem and have template loading
fine in Word 2003. I had to change a few arguments since the page view is now
a print view etc. but code runs OK.

I do have another small nuisance occuring. When I select the dropdown arrow
in combobox and move mouse to witin combobox contents, I can't use the mouse
scroll wheel to scroll through the list of items. It's seems to be still set
to the page focus or something since the page actually scrolls and my
combobox list stays under mouse curser (page scrolls behind dropdown list??)

Any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated.
