Word Certificate of Authenticity Key

I am having problems with converting a document to a file.

It has been suggested that I reinstall Microsoft Word. It
is asking for the 25 character Key. Mine is at least 26.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Deloris,

The 26 plus character key that you have may be the activation key.

If you have a boxed retail copy of Microsoft Word or Office you can use the
phone numbers at http://microsoft.com/worldwide (800-360-7561 in the u.s.)
to get a replacement key.

If it was pre-installed on the PC when it was purchased, it's an oem copy of
the software and you will have to contact the pc supplier for a replacement.
