Default durations

When inserting a new task, rather than assigning a default duration of "1d?"
i get "0.94d?"...

Any clues?

The hours you have set in Tools, Change Working Time should match the
hours listed in Tools, Options, Calendar tab. The Calendar Options
tell the tool that 1 day = 8 hours. The working time tells the tools
that each task/resource is available to work 8 hours per day.
