Whenever I attempt to open onenote, there is immediately a crash. The splash
screen never even shows. I have a computer less than six months old and it's
running Vista. Here is what the error says:

Does this mean anything to anyone? This started this morning and it's quite
baffling. If I need to give anyone any more information to help, please, tell
me. I appreciate any help.

Could you submit an error report and post the bucket number? You can
find the bucket number by opening the windows event viewer, going to the
"Application" logs, and looking in the information event logged when
you submit the crash.

Thanks for the reply Ilya... I'll post that when I get back home in the
morning! I did this, and a list of events came up in the log, but I havent
yet located the 'bucket' number. I will, but not quite yet. Thanks for your
attention :).

Whew! I finally found it. I had to go to 'problem reports and solutions' in
control panel > system and maintenance.
I'm going to paste all the information again, but the bucket ID is under the
rest of the info.

One of the things I found to be odd about this crash in particular is that
it does not ask if I want to report it, which I usually don't do anyway.
Anyway... does this all mean anything to you?

Yes, it does. Although it appears that data for this bucket hasn't yet
been uploaded. Could you get it to crash again, and make sure to submit
the error report, and wait for it to send everything over?

Unfortunately it does not give me the option to send an error report.

Heres the box I get when I attempt to open it.

I'm sorry I'm having so much trouble with this, I appreciate your replies so
much.

The 'problem reports' has seventeen instances of the crash recorded, about 6
of them say they were 'reported.'

a few more Bucket IDs:
Bucket ID: 560498992
Bucket ID: 560495811
Bucket ID: 559804779
Bucket ID: 558639571

Also: when i do choose find a solution, nothing happens.
