According to Bob Buckland:

For the current workaround to get both MS Works and Office 2007 Beta 2
working together you'll need your MS Works CD and you can use these steps.

1. Use Start=>Programs=>Accessories=>System Tools and set a System Restore
Point.

2. As with any significant change to your PC configuration such as
installing and uninstalling software, backup your files before proceeding.

3. From Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel, uninstall
Microsoft Works.

4. Delete the folder: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Works\

5. Restart the PC.

6. Install Works from the CD.
