Hi
I am playing around with an Access 2007 project with a SQL 2005 back
end.
I have created a very simple form, which works perfectly, until I set
the Server Filter By Form to Yes.
At this point, opening the form results in the expected "Filter" form,
but all the controls are disabled. No criteria can be set.
Either closing this filter view, or right-click --> Apply Server
Filter results in the form loading normally and displaying all the
data.
HOWEVER, if I then click on the Advanced button --> Server Filter By
Form (or right-click --> Server filter by form) the filter opens again
and works perfectly, allowing one or more filters to be set as
expected.
Does anyone have any idea why the initial filter screen might be
showing all fields disabled, and how I can resolve this?
