Accept, Tentative, or Decline option not available

Hi,

when I receive requests for meetings I do not get the option to
accept, tentative or decline this request in my Outlook 2000. I
installed the hotfix (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=823199) but
this did not change a thing.

If I send myself a request I do see these options. I believe that most
of my clients do not use 2000 but 2003 or 2007, might this be the
problem?

I also read many answers about the reminder option, this is not used.
So this is also not the problem.

Can anybody advise me on what to try next?

Not sure about this but I think the requests from those other people need to
be sent in Rich Text Format if OL2000 is to interpret it correctly.
