access needs to close

after Aug 2007 critical/security updates access 2003 immediately fails after
opening. error message in event log:
Faulting application msaccess.exe, version 11.0.6566.0, stamp 42cdb33e,
faulting module msaccess.exe, version 11.0.6566.0, stamp 42cdb33e, debug? 0,
fault address 0x000f3016.

I send error report to see if there is a fix...none yet.
HELP! Our office has several access databases and I can access none.
