ADP and SQL 2005

Herb

I have an ADP that works fine under SQL 2000. I can do File > Connection and
switch between servers and/or databases and it never gives me a problem.

I took my ADP over to a server with SQL 2005 and any attempt to do File >
Connection does not refresh the table and queries list. In fact, if I try to
create a new table or query (stored procedure or view), it tells me that
there is no connection set for the ADP. This despite the fact that I just
tested the connection under File > Connection and it worked fine!

If anyone knows the cause of this I'd sure appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks, Herb

For editing tables/views/stored procedures in SQL-2005, you must use ADP
2007 or SQL-Server Management Studio.

Previous versions of ADP (2000/2/3) can't be used to make design work
against SQL-2005 but can be used for inserting/editing/deleting the data.
