Advanced find (Outlook2003) not searching subfolders of a publicfo

Before recent upgrade to Outlook 2003, I extensively used "Advanced find" to
search through ALL subfolders (email folders) of the public or personal
folder that I pointed the find at.

This searching of public sub-folders does not work for me in Outlook 2003.
If I point to a personal (non-public) folder, the Advanced Find **will**
search through all subfolders.

Is there some one-time setting I need to change to fix this problem with
searching public subfolders?
