Annotate email?

Jim S

I have a pending folder for emails I intend to deal with later. The trouble
is that when I go back I sometimes cannot remember why I put them there. Is
there a way to annotate a received mail 'for later'?
A sticky note for emails would be ideal.
I am prepared to invest in an add-on if necessary, if I could find one.

Open the message, click Edit>Edit Message and add whatever you want to the
end (or beginning or middle) of the message. Close the message and save the
changes.
