I am having a problem applying Task updates to my plans:
As project manager I see Tasks for Approval in my Task Updates view
If I approve these tasks, even one project at a time in very small batches I
do not see any updates appearing in plans. If i change the Project Manager
and log in as that user I have some success, but haven't fully tested.
Looking at my Reviewed Task Update Requests I see a list of approved changes
that are pending the project being checked in. Looking in the queue I see
Status Update Skipped For Optimization 20% for this project.
Looking at my Applied Task Update Requests and Errors I see lots of updates
Accepted but not published. If i select a few from another project and
Publish them, I see the status change to Published but still no change to the
project Plan, yet I see the job being processed properly in the queue.
When I submit my personal task updates, they do not appear in my Task
Updates for approval list. Are they automatically being approved because I am
the Project Manager? of course they are not being published to the Project
Plan either.
Can anyone tell me what is going on? I have seen some reference to an August
hotfix fixing this issue. Do I need to apply this?
