arrows on maps

Any idea where I might acquire some good-looking arrows for my maps in
PowerPoint?

Looking for a gradient fill, semi-transparent arrow with a tail that
tapers and fades away.
Arched (important), large arrowhead, with a depth dimension.
From point A to point B, I would then use PowerPoints Custom Animation
to "wipe" its entry on the map.

Thank you very much for any tips you might offer.

Given those parameters, you could almost draw your own in PPT itself. Draw
an arrow autoshape that's close to the shape you're looking for. Use the
yellow diamond to change the thickness of the arrowhead in relation to the
body line. Add a shadow for depth, or a gradient fill might work.. For the
transparency, you'd need to be using PPT 2002 or 2003, though. Which version
of PPT are you working with?

Just a thought. You might also try http://office.microsoft.com, select clip
art in the searchbox, and search on keyword Arrow. You can recolor many of
the clips from Office Online. Holler if you need info on that.
