auto measure room sq ft

When using Visio 2000 for floorplan designs, I had a shape tool to drag from
a stencil that would calculate and display area in sq ft. I now also have
Visio 2003 and can't find the stencil or shape to use. I opened an old
drawing and copy/pasted the shape but it does not re-calculate when room size
is changed.
I have macros set to "on" for both old and current drawing.
Questions: anyone know which stencil has that tool and what its called? And
why does it not work in 2003?

Ah finally found it...several searches later: its called a "space" shape; did
web and shapes search; found it and its working..sorry to bother but now its
good info for those who never knew about it before!

Hi Doug -
I have a related question (which I just posted). Having found your item I
thought I'd ask you directly since you use the tool.

I am using 'Room Measure' which is similar to Room Space, but it shows the
dimensions instead of the area. My problem is that, even though it displays
as feet and inches the way I want in Visio, when I copy the drawing into Word
the measurements are converted to inches.

Have you run across this and do you know of a solution?
