Auto Resize of Picture Attachments

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Email Client: pop Is there an option in Entourage to resize picture files to more sender friendly size?
As a PC user I believe there is an option in Outlook to resize pictures by a specified percentage before sending?
In the end I ended up opening IPhoto that has this option when you click on the email option in Iphoto but it would sure be a useful tool in entourage if a person could click on attachments, go to iphoto folder and then import at a user friendly size?

If anybody knows if this is possible, I would sure appreciate hearing back from you.
Best Regards.

In Entourage 2008, select the new Toolbox and click on the right icon,
Object Palette. Select the camera tab. This puts you into iPhoto. It
does not give any options to reduce photos. As a comparison, email from
iPhoto on medium produced an attachment of 56.98 KB. The same photo
dragged in from the Object Palette was 1.13 MB.

Other options:

Automator Workflow:

As mentioned I was able to use Iphoto to re size but it sure would be nice to have this option built into Entourage. Maybe next version? I may give one of those third party programs that you suggested a go.
Thanks again for taking the time to answer my question.

Entourage is being replaced with Outlook for Mac in the next version.
It's due out Decemberish 2010.
