Autoforwarded message failing, but cannot locate it anywhere

I

Illya

I had a rule that was autoforwarding messages, anf I also have the setting to
keep sent messages in the folder with the original. Somehow a message was
moved as it was being autoforwarded and when it tries to send it is failing.
My problem is that I cannot locate the message that it is trying to send
(constantly). Any clues on how to track down the messages in the outbox queue
(i.e. that are not in the outbox)?

Sorry, I'm not able to solve your problem but I have a very similar one..
I received an email with a read receipt request, and I clicked OK. The
email address displayed in the email from the sender is not correct
(strangely) and therefore the read receipt keeps failing. Like you, Outlook
is constantly trying to resend and I cant find the read receipt to delete it.

I have spent a while trawling through posts about my problem and solved it
using the following:

There might be a section for deleting your autoforwarded message. Good luck..

PS. If you want to see the post I found, search on Microsoft for "read
receipt" and there is a post dated 8/4/2006 entitled "I cant cancel a read
receipt...."
