Bad Certificate (CERT_REV_FAILED) (ID=0x800a1529)

I got the following error when trying to connect to a 2007 Project Server
via the Office Project 2007:

Bad Certificate (CERT_REV_FAILED) (ID=0x800a1529)

All thing was working well when I was running the same software under the XP
(SP2) environment. The problem started when I upgraded to Vista Ultimate on
my client machine. Office Project 2007 running fine locally but can no
longer connect to the Project Server 2007 with the HTTPS protocol. Other
machines running XP can connect without problem. Also, I have no problem
bringing up the HTTPS Project Server site via Internet Explorer. The proper
certificate was installed and looks fine on my local machine.

They were totally 4 event logged when running into the issue:

Event ID: 16
Soap error: Bad certificate (CERT_REV_FAILED).

Event ID: 16
Soap error: An unanticipated error occurred during the processing of this
request..

Event ID: 16
Soap error: Sending the Soap message failed or no recognizable response was
received.

Event ID: 16
Soap error: Unspecified client error..

So far, I haven't seen anyone posted any similar problem. Would greatly
appreciate if someone can shed some light on this.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Turmin:
I've a similar problem with Project Server 2003 and Project Pro 2003 and I
think it's a problem with IE7. I posted here topic and I was answered to buy
a certificate to any CA trusted like verisign (I haven't stil proved it).

Hi,

Well, I was running IE 7 under the XP environment and have no problem
connecting to our secured Project Server 2007site via Project Prof 2007. Do
you mind to share or point me the discussion thread you posted?

Thanks.
