Hi, can anyone help answer the following question: one of the main purposes
of having a plan is to be able to track the actual project percentage
complete against the base line, however when you go into tracking and look at
the gant bars only the actual progress is shown as a percentage the baseline
is only shown as a bar against the current date line, if you look in reports
you can only get a date or work variance but no % value. The company I work
for expect me to be able to tell them for example " we are currently 50%
actually complete against a planned baseline of 55% meaning that we are 5%
behind schedule" Both these sets of figures should show on the tracking gant
for tasks,sub-projects and the overall project for any given date up to the
current date of the project or am I expecting too much?
regards
