Before I spend a lot of time answering your questions, let me ask you some
questions first:

1. Does your company do billable work?

2. Does your company track overtime work as a separate time entry category?
Overtime work is usually work that exceeds 8 hours per day and 40 hours per
week.

Let us know.

Dale,

1. Yes, it does.
2. Yes, cause my company want to track & count hours that resource take
overtime , so managers can know how much hours he/she take overtime in a
month.

thanks

OK. Here's what you need to know:

1. Actual Work = Actual Work Billable + Actual Work Non-Billable. Users
must enter Billable and Non-Billable Actual Work on the My Timesheet page.
If your Project Server administrator enables the options, users can click
the Actions menu button and set up their Timesheet to show Non-Billable task
work, Ovetime task work, and Non-Billable Overtime task work. When a user
enters Actual Work on a project task in the My Timesheet page, the system
assumes the work is billable.

2. If a user enters Overtime work, the system assumes it is Overtime
Billable. If not, the user must enter the hours as Non-Billable Overtime
work.

3. Overtime Work (planned Overtime work) and Actual Overtime Work are
available in the following OLAP cubes: Assignment Non Timephased,
Assignment Timephased, MSP_Portfolio_Analyzer, MSP_Project_Timesheet,
MSP_Project_WSS, and Project Non Timephased. Actual Overtime Work Billable
and Actual Overtime Work Non-Billable are available in the following OLAP
cubes: EPM Timesheet, MSP_Project_Timesheet, and Timesheet. Obviously,
your users must enter their Actual Work on the My Timesheet page, and should
then import the numbers into the My Tasks page.

Hope this helps.
