Blocking email with quotes round the addresses

Hi guys,

recently we've had a huge amount of emails coming into our company with
quotes round the email address, and the Junk Email filter won't let you add
these to the blocked senders list.
An example is here:

"Meredith Benitez"@epilepsy.org.uk
Visit our pharmacy store and you won't regret!

As you can see, they're even using our domain name to send (although you can
see the actual originator's email address in the options section). Because of
the quotes though, they can't be added to the blocked senders list,
consequently they have to be just deleted, therefore come back all the time.

We're on Outlook 2003 on XP Pro, running Exchange server 2003.

Any help to get rid of these annoying emails much appreciated

cheers
James.

IF the only ones you get with " in them are junk, you could make a rule that
says I f the Sender's Address contains " delete it or send to Junk.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!

Hi Judy,

many thanks for your response. Just tried what you suggested and it's worked!

Thanks again
James.
