border added around Notes Pages printed to PDF

for some reason printing Notes Page view to PDF (Acrobat Professional
8.0), adds a bounding box around my page.

My Adobe PDF printer is set to A4, but the same does not happen when
printing from other apps, or when using other printers.

Other PDF generation alternatives in PPT are apparently no option,
because they either don't support Notes Page layout(Save as Adobe
PDF), or don't have Grayscale possibility (Save to PDF or XPS)

I couldn't find anything related in the PDF printer settings either

any hints?
