After I backed up all the my contact information and the history for each
account, I am unable to access the information or add new information and
contacts. The form page reads "business contact manager was unable to
initialize this form"

Hi, I read this post and it solved my problem. NRL

Hi Raul:

Thanks, the feature was disabled. I went into "About Outlook" and found the
disabled item, enabled it, and the function now works.

Hello Steve,

please search for the file "EnableBCM.exe" in the BCM-Directory and run
it. Then the BCM is avaiable in Outlook again.

Best regards
Peter

Hi, I tried to do this and took a wrong turn. There was nothing disabled. I
looked in about BCM and enabled a checkbox at the bottom of the page. Now I
can't bring up Outlook at all. What should I do next. I've lost my email.
Thanks.

FYI, I restarted and whatever the cause of the problem was, it was resolved.
To be clear, I had tried restarting to before when I first received the BCM
unable to init form error, but that didn't help.
I then went into Help in Outlook and ran the Detect and Repair. It didn't
appear to help either. That's when I tried the solution in this post (the
wrong way) and closed Outlook. I then couldn't open Outlook at all. After a
restart the initial problem was resolved.
Not sure which action helped or hindered, but I'm good to go now.

The answer was that the Business Contacts facility was disabled.
I went into "About Outlook" and found the
disabled item, enabled it, and the function now works.
