Calendar meeting invites being rejected

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange Calendar meeting invites I am creating are being rejected when created in Entourage. The error message I am getting is:
< #5.6.0 smtp;554 5.6.0
STOREDRV.Deliver.Exception:ObjectValidationException; Failed to process
message due to a permanent exception>

The IT folks claim to have not made any changes on their end. I can create a successful invite via OWA. The only recent change I made was to update my Exchange server password (via OWA and keychain on my MacBook).

Does any one have any ideas?
