Can not print slide to 11x17 paper

I am running Windows XP, PowerPoint 2003, and trying to print to a
Xerox 7760 color laser. I use this printer all the time to print to
11x17 paper, and I usually have no problem. I have the printer set as
my default.

1) I go to File->Page Setup, and set the page to 11x17

2) I go to File->Print, and everything looks correct. But when I
print, it always prints to the the 8.5x11 paper.

If I go to File->Print-Properties it will hang my PC. This is normal
for my network.
