can receive, but as of this morning, can't send

Just started this morning - can't send emails or replies from Entourage 2008 via POP or IMAP. I can receive with no problems. I can send using Mail and via iPhone, so it's not a network / SMTP error. I zapped the pram, rebuilt disk permissions, ran fsck -fy, still no go. Entourage throws up an Error: -3259. Says network or email server is busy, but like I said above, can send with Mail on same computer with no probs.
