Cannot download Internet Explorer or Updates

I had a problem with dell coming into my puter back a few months ago from
some w fi thing and since then I cannot get into now can I download Internet
Explorer from the internet..

I had to singn up on AOL (which since then I found out it is provided by
Dell) to get online..before I had MSN as part of my internet probider. I have
the ISP through my phone with Alltel which I was very happy with.

I thought maybe if I could get a disc with Internet Explore on it I could
download it because I have downloaded some things and they seem to be working
ok..

I called Dell and they said they could fix my problem over the phone for
140.00 one time or 180.00 for everytime it happened...I didn't pay them and I
removed the wy fi things but now can only use aol..HELP...Thank you Omer

I could probably help for free!! but I need more information regarding your
pc, what model is it?
are you saying that you connect using wireless? or do you use ethernet cable
to link to your router?

you shouldnt of signed up to AOL if you already had an ISP that worked, to
be honest I dont like AOL so I am biased on that subject!
