Cannot print >1 copies - Deskjet 6980

I cannot print multiple copies of a Word 2003 document on my HP DeskJet 6980
printer. I can print multiples from Excel. I've tried all of the workarounds
in KB 290956 with no luck. HP Support Chat couldn't resolve it.

Ideas?
