Cannot view Free/Busy information

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

I know there are other threads about this subject, but nothing in them has helped me, so I'll summarize my situation.

OS: OSX 10.5.4
Entourage: 12.1.2

Problem: when adding invitees to meeting invitations, I cannot see their free/busy time.

Things I've tried:
1. reviewed Account settings per previous forum comments. In 2008 there is no specific place to configure free/busy server it seems. It's just handled by the Public Folders server?
2. checked OWA and found that OWA can see the free/busy time just fine

Any ideas? -- this is a real drag

That's correct.

Have you tried appending "/public" to the end of the server address such as:
server.domain.com/public

When you view the public folders in OWA does the address in the address
bar end with "/public" or something else?

I have the same issue, I too have followed other suggestions, to no
avail... finally rolled up sleves and started a sniffer...

Here is my issue. Using Entourage 12.1.2 on Exchange 2007.
Everything works in Entourage, except free/busy on calendar meeting
request... I get nothing back, it returns a blank/gray schedule "No
Information". The free/busy works fine in OWA. Also, public folders
in Entourage work fine...everything, but free/busy in Entourage 2008.
I have the public folder settings right, as the public folders work in
Entourage... The public folders server is set as follows (obscured
with x's):
exc1-xx-xxx/public/

I fired up WireShark and noticed that the problem is how Entourage is
sending the http request:
GET /public/?
Cmd=freebusy&start=2008-09-15T00:00:00-05:00&end=2008-09-22T00:00:00-05:00&interval=15&u=SMTP:[email protected]
HTTP/1.1

I notice that OWA uses:
GET /public/?
Cmd=freebusy&start=2008-09-15T00:00:00-05:00&[email protected] HTTP/1.1

So, I played with the above request in a browser and deleted the end
and interval tags and wooolllaaaa! it works!!!! So, there is
definately something wrong with the way that Entourage is sending the
request.

Note, I only selected a half hour time request, for some reason, it
set the end time as 7 days later...that must be some clue... just
playing around, I also noticed that something like this works too:
GET /public/?
Cmd=freebusy&start=2008-09-15T00:00:00-05:00&end=2008-09-15T00:00:00-05:&u=SMTP:[email protected]
HTTP/1.1

Note here, that I set the end day to the same as start and chopped the
end time to 00-05 (I dropped the :00)...it works too... I definitely
have to remove the interval tag, it doesn't like that.

What is going on here?
