Change Calendar and maintain the task's start and finish date

J

Joao

Hi,

I would like to change the calendar for a task or a group of tasks but
maintain as far as possible the start and finish date. This way the program
would only change the duration and not the start or finish date.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks

Joao,

I am trying to understand your request - the duration of a task is the span
of time from its start to finish, if you wish to maintain the start and
finish dates using a calendar then the durations will remain constant - can
you expand on your issue so I can answer it more helpfully?

Hi,

Sorry but Project has absolutely no functionality to do this.
It PLANS work you know, and when there is a holiday work will be postponed
till later.
This is the first time I understand that holidays automagically decrease the
work :))
Greetings,
