connecting mail and wireless server

I just bought a wireless server for my home. In addition, I purchased a new
laptop. I set up the microsoft outlook and in the set-up phase it passed all
the tests. when i sen email from my laptop get.....

.Your message did not reach some or all of the intended
recipients.

Subject: test
Sent: 9/24/2005 8:48 AM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'(e-mail address removed)' on 9/24/2005 8:48 AM
501 5.7.1 This system is not configured to relay mail from
<[email protected]> to <[email protected]> for 72.240.88.88

I also cannot receive any incoming mail. Did I do something wrong?

please help

wireless server or wireless access point?

you are not authenticating properly with the SMTP server. Check the outgoing
email settings.
