Connectors in Word

I am creating a flowchart using Word. When trying to adjust the location of
the connectors, dragging the yellow adjustment handles is not working (The
connectors don't move.). Please help!

Connectors are only active when you're in the Drawing Canvas. To enable
the Drawing Canvas, either click on Tools | Options | General | check
the "Automatically create drawing canvas when inserting AutoShapes" box
| OK, or click on Insert | Picture | New Drawing.
