CONTACTS Outlook 2007 to Outlook 2002/XP

Al

Finally have contacts from different sources unto one place = Outlook 2007.
My wife has an XP laptop with Outlook 2002/XP (but she uses Outlook
Express). Are the fields in the contacts databases of the two versions the
same? That is, can I copy OL 07 contacts to her OL 02/XP?

Thanks

It depends on what format the Outlook Data file uses. You can export your
contacts to an Excel spreadsheet for your wife to import but that will lose
all kinds of information.

You can check the Outlook Data file format using File->Data File Management.
If it says 97-2002 format, you can copy your contacts to a new .pst file and
open it on your wife's machine and copy to her default conacts folder.
