Thank you very much, and thanks to Don. Is there any way to be able to edit
these files once brought in an as image file? Thanks again, What is your
opinion, do you find Publisher easier to work with than InDesign?

Some files, if they are text, can be converted to .tif format, brought into
Microsoft Document Imaging and processed through the OCR. I have done it and it
works okay. It is useful if you have a lot of text.

InDesign is a far more powerful product. I have no clue on its learning curve.
Adobe has some really good tutorials.

Have you considered that the newsletter that you are trying to emulate is
copyrighted? Better to create your own.

Learning curve in InDesign isn't too bad actually, and the templates are
great to learn from.

If I get some time later maybe I'll try messin with Pub & InDesign.

Thanks again. The reason I was looking into this was the person who works on
this newsletter works only using Indesign, and since I don't have this
program on my laptop, I can't change it, other than some changes that can be
done through Adobe Acrobat. I was thinking if there was a problem and this
person was unavailable, I wouldn't be able to ammend newsletter. I
appreciate the help, since I have some ways to do this should the need arise.

You'll need to get InDesign then.
