Convert Powerpoint flowcharts to Visio

R

Roshan

I have a set of Microsoft PowerPoint flowcharts that I would like converted
into Visio flowcharts. The reason is that they need to be reused and
modifying them in Powerpoint is tedious.

I have already tried the Metafile and Graphic options but after ungrouping
each line of text is a separate object and the people that need to update
these would find it quite tedious to modify each line separately. Hence, I
need something where it would create it in Microsoft Visio more or less like
an original flowchart.

Are there any solutions at all for a problem of this sort?

Hi Roshan,

If you're talking about Powerpoint and Visio 2003 you
can drag and drop an Office Org Chart diagram from
Powerpoint into Visio and you can ungroup the elements
to work on them in Visio but you'd likely still have
a lot of manual work to do.

You may want to check in the Visio newsgroups as well,
as it's a feature that seems one that would be useful.
