I have a sheet that I work with every week that varies in
size (columns and rows) This sheet has store numbers in
column A, the City in column B, and inventory for various
items in columns C to ??. What I have to do with this
sheet every week is to use the COUNTIF function to count
how many 0's there are in inventory. Then I have to sort
the sheet by City, add rows in between. I am a newbie at
macros and don't know how to find the last row and start
my COUNTIF formula in column C, and tell it where to end.
Can anyone help? Here is a sample what I have.
Store City Car Boat Ski Apple Orange
1 Los Angeles 0 0
9 Chicago 0
2 Los Angeles 0
8 New York 0
I would like the end result to look like:
Store City Car Boat Ski Apple Orange
9 Chicago 0
1 Los Angeles 0 0
2 Los Angeles 0
8 New York 0
Total Out of Stock 1 2 1 1
I have been told that I also may have to do a Countif by
City and subtotal by City, but I am not sure yet.
