Create a View in My Work which lists Baseline Information

Hello,

I am working with project server 2007. I am requesting all of our
project managers to baseline their projects. What I want to do is,
create a view under My Work along with MY assignments and Timesheet
which will show project managers their baseline start/finish and start
variance and finish variance. Is this possible?

I tried to go in and create a view but the Start and FInish variance
fields were not available to me while i was trying to create my view.

Help!!!

Pallavi.

Why are you trying to do this in the My Tasks page in PWA? If you want the
PMs to be able to analyze the Start and Finish variance, they should do this
in the Microsoft Project 2007 plan using the Tracking Gantt view and the
task Variance table (View - Table - Variance). Hope this helps.

Hi Palavi,

in addition to Dales exellent response, you may want to consider setting up
indicators to display who has baselined and who has not. These indicators can
be viewed in the Project Center giving you a very quick view of who as
baselines and which project is over or under the baseline.

You can event put these indicators on a task level, allowing you and your
PM's to analyse each individual task by comapring the baseline value with the
forecast value.

I hope this helps.
