Create Connection Point

Hello,

I am generating a Visio diagram..

I have an arrow shape and a circle shape with connection points, based on
template shapes.

I have the arrow's end pint is overlapping a connection point to the circle.

The two aren't really connected as highlighting the arrow shows green
endpoints, not red.

How can I programmatically connect the endpoints?
