Custom Enterprise Fields

I run a standalone Integrated Master Schedule using MS Project Professional
2003.

However, one of our sub-contractors uses Project Server and it seems that
ever since I cut and pasted some of their work packages into our IMS, we now
have custom enterprise fields (Text, Cost, Outline Codes, etc.) showing in
our schedule.

They don't appear in the Global.MPT, just the fields available to the
project schedule file. I can't seem to delete them using the Organizer and
when I try to customise an enterprise field they are greyed out.

I wouldn't normally bother, but every time I try and insert a new column I
have to scroll through 30 or so custom enterprise fields and it's getting a
bit annoying.

Many thanks in advance,

DK

Helo DK,

You posted your question on the Microsoft Project General Questions newsgroup.

Since it is a Server related question, you might want to repost it in the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup.

José,

Thank you for your response, however, as I mentioned in my initial query,
the issue I'm having is with a standalone MS Project file and imported
Enterprise fields.

I don't use or have access to Project Server, so I'm unsure whether posing
the question the MS Project Server newsgroup would be of any additional
benefit in this instance.

Although I will take your advice and re-post, I would also like to keep this
line of enquiry open as I believe it has greater relevancy in this arena.

Regards,

DK
