Custom field will not populate in PS 2007

I've come across a custom field problem I can't seem to solve. I've copied
and created a new custom field with a formula to call out due in 2 weeks, due
in one week, and past due indicators from a custom field already created. The
only thing I changed was to substitute finish for baseline finish in the
newly created custom field. I added this new custom field to three projects
using Project Pro 2007.

The old field populates fine in all three projects. The new field only
populates in the first project I added it to. In all others. the field shows
up blank and only populates if I hit F9. If I save and publish, the field
shows up blank in PWA for all except the first project, which populates fine.
If I exit and come back to all but the first project, the field is blank and
I must again hit F9 to populate the field.

I can't find any fundamental differences between the old and new field or
between projects (formats the same). What did I miss? Has anyone else run
across this type of behaviour? Could sure use some help on this one...

Thanks for your reply. To answer your questions:
- Yes, the projects were published.
- No, the custom field depends on standard start, finish, and % complete
fields.
- The latest CU's have been installed installed. Not sure which SP. Where
can I find that out quickly?

- All CU's installed. Not sure what SP. Know where I can check that quickly?
