If I understand you properly, you would like to create a task level Enterprise
Field referencing out of the box fields that will then surface in the Enterprise
Gantt Chart View. Is that in the bar chart or the table to the left of the
view?
If the first, then:
1) Navigate to PWA
2) Go to Server Settings
3) Select Custom Fields
4) Create a new custom field with the appropriate formula
5) Open your projects and republish them to refresh the cell
6) Open MS Project while connected to the server
7) Copy the Enterprise Gantt View and the Enterprise Entry Table (make sure
to give them unique names when you do so)
8) Add the new field to the copy of the Enterprise Entry Table
9) Open Enterprise Global (Tools > Enterprise Options)
10) Copy the new table and the new view to the Enterprise Global (Tools >
Organizer)
11) Close Enterprise Global and save.
12) Close and reopen Microsoft Project
If the second, then:
Follow steps 1-7 above
8) Create a custom local field that references the Enterprise field (i.e.
add the formula "=EnterpriseField1")
9) Doubleclick on an empty spot in the bar chart and add the field to the
Gantt Bars in the Bar Styles dialog box
Follow steps 9-12 above.
