I am developing a DAP front end to a small data base. I know this is bad
practice but I added an addtional field to the primary key based on new
knowledge about how the data will be provided. But now, when I try and add a
new record based on the new criteria, the DAP does not appear to recognize
the refined primary key and gives the message "Data provider or other service
returned an E-fail status". I can enter the date using an Access form without
a problem, it's just the DAP that does not appear to recognize the enhanced
key. Is there a place I can capture more detailed information about the error
message?
